I repeated the pledge throughout my school years and at 18 joined the US Navy and took another oath of allegiance some 6 times (each reinlistment),
Served under Presidents I liked and some I did not like. I always supported the decisions of the leadership (like it or not, I took an oath). Today I thank the gods I am not responsible to an administration that has no respect for the country it leads(?)
I also believe that this country will find it’s way back on track but fear the cost will be very high. First step is vote out of office, these who would give away all our forefathers have workd so hard and shed so much blood over. Second Both Parties Politicians are at fault for the state of the country. They must put their personal gains and Petty Partyline bickering aside and do as the people of this country demand or step down so someone else can. Then we can recover. The rest will follow

The spite and vengeance of a false accuser coupled with hysteria and self righteousness of a jaded CPS worker who has impunity backed by federal funding to destroy lives, is just another tool of greed. A family is like a goose that lays the golden eggs for this corrupt system. So, they go for the nest and reap what they can in federal funding. A lot of children get adopted out and never see their parents again.
It’s evil, destroys families, and gives the village idiots the ultimate power to destroy the country and create a fascist state.

I would like to respond to the comments above. Kenneth Turner had a history of drug abuse, domestic violence, and not supporting his children. On the night he broke into that apartment and murdered my niece and her roomate, the only feelings he had were those of a drugged up lunatic who would rather commit senseless murder and suicide than face the reality of the life he created for himself. His feelings weren’t hurt, and I resent the insinuation that someone had to hurt his feelings badly for him to commit this act! This man parked his truck and walked nearly two miles to sneak into the complex and commit the most extreme act of cowardice a human is capable of. You can not assume that every human being has moral virtue. There are those who are simply a waste of humanity and a drain on society. Of course his desperation made perfect sense to him. This is a man who could not exist without someone to foot the bill for him. He wasn’t man enough to accept responsibility for what he was and his only thought was to hurt as many as possible on his way down the drain. I wonder if the “respectful” Fred Sottile would feel better knowing that my niece had begged for help in two different police jurisdictions and had moved twice to try and escape Mr. Turner’s fury. Maybe he would feel better about the story if he knew that, in all likelyhood, my niece’s roomate died protecting Mr. Turner’s own 9 month old daughter from her father’s gun. This assertion that judicial corruption goes all the way to the top was affirmed to me again on May 24, 2010 when the U.S. Supreme Court reviewed Richard Fine’s case and said No, we will not get involved.
Remember, this is a court that felt that Anna Nicole Smith’s inheritance was an issue of national importance and ruled on that case. I guess California’s stolen judiciary is not nearly important enough for that noble court.

Sad to see the demise of the Buell motorcycle. I also believe Erik Buell will be back in the business in a few years. But what about Harley? They’ve been selling essentially the same motorcycles for decades. Nothing significant has happened, other than the Buell, since the introduction of the Evo in 1984. The ridership has been aging with the brand.

Part of the problem is the current Harley owners include a lot of purists who have a definite pre-determined idea as to what a “real” Harley is. Harley management is very cautious to keep these people happy. Basically, the Harley purists are the world’s largest committee, and as some of us know, a large committee isn’t necessarily the best way to innovate and make progress.

The Harley brand has now stagnated to the extent that their average rider qualifies for AARP membership. This is a fatal direction for a brand, since with a constantly aging target audience eventually the brand ages itself out of existence. Younger people don’t buy Harleys because they don’t want to ride their grandpa’s motorcycle. Buell offered Harley an option. Buell’s bikes appealed to younger riders. Harley’s loss…

As Harley positions itself to become the Buick of the motorcycling world, they need Erik Buell more than ever.
